Firearms Amendment Regulations 2022

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Firearms Amendment
Regulations 2022.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations on the day after that day.

3.            Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Firearms Regulations 1974.

4.            Regulation 2A amended

(1)	In regulation 2A(1)(a) delete "0.68; and" and insert:
not less than 0.4 and not more than 0 68; and
(2)	In regulation 2A(2) delete "with a diameter of 17.27 mm filled with a water-soluble marking dye of any colour except red or brown." and insert:

any colour except red or brown.

(a)	have a diameter of not less than 10 mm and not more than 17.27 mm; and
(b)	are filled with a water-soluble marking dye of

5. Schedule 1 amended

(1)	In Schedule 1 Form 1 items 16 and 17 delete "effect" and insert:
