Firearms Amendment Regulations 2017

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

1114 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 3 February 2017

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.            Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Firearms Regulations 1974.

4.            Schedule 3 amended

(1)	In Schedule 3 clause 1 in the Table item A3.3 delete "(lever or bolt action)" and insert:
(bolt action)
(2)	In Schedule 3 clause 2 in the Table insert in alphanumeric order:
B2.4 a repeating shotgun (lever action) with a magazine capacity of no more than 5 rounds
(3)	In Schedule 3 clause 7 in the Table insert in alphanumeric order:
D5.1 a repeating shotgun (lever action) with a magazine capacity more than 5 rounds
