Firearms Amendment Regulations 2005

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Firearms Amendment
Regulations 2005.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation on 1 July 2005.

3.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Firearms
Regulations 1974* .

4.            Regulation 4 amended

(1) The Table to regulation 4(1a) is deleted and the following Table

is inserted instead

(2) Regulation 4( 1 aa) is amended as follows:

(a)

in paragraph (a) by deleting "$23" and inserting " $24 ";

(b)

in paragraph (b) by deleting "$23" and inserting " $24 ".

(3) Regulation 4(1b)(a) is amended by deleting "$23" and inserting

instead —

" $24 "

(4) The Table to regulation 4(1c) is deleted and the following Table

is inserted instead —

5.            Regulation 5 amended

Regulation 5(1)(b) is amended by deleting "$39" and inserting instead —

Regulation 7(5a) is amended by deleting "$15" and inserting instead —

7.            Regulation 8 amended

Regulation 8 is amended as follows:

(a)

in subregulation (2) by deleting "$23." and inserting " $24. ";

(b)	in subregulation (2a) by deleting -$15- and inserting
instead — " $16 ".

8.            Regulation 11 amended

Regulation 11(1) is amended by deleting "$100" and inserting instead —

" $107 ".

9.            Regulation 27 amended

Regulation 27(1)(a) is amended by deleting "$361" and inserting instead —

" $376 ".
