Firearms Amendment Regulations 2000

Made by the Administrator in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Firearms Amendment
Regulations 2000.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation on 1 July 2000.

3. The regulations amended
The amendments in these regulations are to the Firearms
Regulations 1974*

4.            Regulation 4 amended

(1) Regulation 4(1 a) is amended as follows:

(a)	by deleting ", or for the notation of an additional firearm upon an existing licence,";
(b)	by deleting paragraph (b) and inserting the following paragraph instead -

"

(b) the fee to be paid shall be that specified in

relation thereto in the third column.

$19 for each additional firearm; and

(c) in the Table to the subregulation -

(i)     by deleting "74" and inserting instead - " 93 ";

(ii)     by deleting "134" and inserting instead -

148 ";

(iii)     by deleting the item for noting an additional firearm on a licence.

(2) After regulation 4(1 a) the following subregulation is inserted -

(laa) For the purpose of making an application for the

notation of an additional firearm upon an existing

licence the fee to be paid shall be -

(a) for a Firearms Licence or a Corporate Licence,

(b) for a Firearms Collector's Licence, $14 for each

additional firearm.

(3)	Regulation 4(lb)(a) is amended by deleting "$14" and inserting instead -
" $19 ".
(4)	The Table to regulation 4(lc) is deleted and the following Table is inserted instead -

5.             Regulation 5 amended

Regulation 5(1)(b) is amended by deleting "$7" and inserting instead -

6.             Regulation 7 amended

Regulation 7 is amended by renumbering the first
subregulation (6) (which begins "The applicant for an Extract")
as subregulation (5a).

7.             Regulation 8 amended

Regulation 8(2) is amended by deleting "$14" and inserting instead -

" $19 "

8.             Regulation 11 amended

Regulation 11(1) is amended by deleting "$37" and inserting instead -

9.            Regulation 27 amended

Regulation 27(1)(a) is amended by deleting "$150" and inserting instead —
