Firearms Amendment Regulations 1999

Made by the deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Firearms Amendment
Regulations 1999.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation on 1 July 1999.

3.             The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Firearms
Regulations 1974*.

4.             Regulation 4 amended

(1) The Table to subregulation 4(1a) is deleted and the following
Table is inserted instead —

5.             Regulation 5 amended

Regulation 5(1)(b) is amended by deleting “$6” and inserting —
“ $7 ”.

6.             Regulation 7 amended

After regulation 7(5) the following subregulation is added —

“

(6) The applicant for an Extract of Licence is to pay a fee
of $10 for the issue of that Extract of Licence.

7.             Regulation 8 amended

Regulation 8(2) is amended by deleting “$12” and inserting —
“ $14 ”.

8.             Regulation 11 amended

Regulation 11(1) is amended by deleting “$14” and inserting —
“ $37 ”.

9.             Regulation 27 amended

Regulation 27(1)(a) is amended by deleting “$100” and inserting —

“ $150 ”.
