Fire Services (Amendment) Regulations 2002

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
Metropolitan Fire Brigades (General) Regulations
1994 and the Country Fire Authority Regulations
1992 to increase the fees charged by the fire
services in accordance with the rate allowed by
section 8(1)(a) of the Subordinate Legislation

Act 1994.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under section 34 of the Metropolitan Fire Brigades Act 1958 and section 110 of the Country Fire Authority Act 1958.

3. Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on
1 November 2002.

4. Increased fees and charges

(1) In item 1 of the Third Schedule to the

Metropolitan Fire Brigades (General) Regulations

19941 for "$411.00" substitute "$423.50".

(2) In regulation 113(2)(a) of the Country Fire

Authority Regulations 19922 for "$301"

substitute "$341.00".

(3) In regulation 113(2)(b) of the Country Fire

Authority Regulations 1992 for "$211" substitute

"$239.05".

(4) In regulation 113(2)(c) of the Country Fire

Authority Regulations 1992 for "$120" substitute

"$135.95".

(5) In regulation 115(a) of the Country Fire Authority

Regulations 1992 for "$181" substitute

"$205.05".

(6) In regulation 115(b) of the Country Fire Authority

Regulations 1992 for "$126" substitute
