Fire Service (Finance) Amendment Regulations 2008

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the State Fire Commission, make the following regulations under the Fire Service Act 1979 .26 May 2008

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Fire Service (Finance) Amendment Regulations 2008 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on 1 June 2008. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Fire Service (Finance) Regulations 2006 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 5A amended (Prescribed amounts under section 79A(2)(b) ) Regulation 5A of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by omitting "1 July 2007" and substituting "1 July 2008"; (b) by omitting from paragraph (a) "$2 421" and substituting "$2 131"; (c) by omitting from paragraph (b) "$2 475" and substituting "$2 270"; (d) by omitting from paragraph (c) "$7 897" and substituting "$7 522"; (e) by omitting from paragraph (d) "$8 949" and substituting "$9 248".
