Fire Service (Finance) Amendment Regulations 2004

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the State Fire Commission, make the following regulations under the Fire Service Act 1979 .24 May 2004

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Fire Service (Finance) Amendment Regulations 2004 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on 1 June 2004. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Fire Service (Finance) Regulations 1996 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 6 substituted Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations is rescinded and the following regulation is substituted: 6Prescribed minimum assessed annual values of land under section 79A(2) For the purposes of section 79A(2) of the Act, the minimum assessed annual value of land for the financial year commencing on 1 July 2004 is – (a) $2 125 in relation to each permanent brigade rating district; and (b) $2 265 in relation to each composite brigade rating district; and (c) $7 317 in relation to each volunteer brigade rating district; and (d) $7 561 in relation to general land.
