s1 2 s5 Fire Legislation Amendment (No. 1) No. 101, 1999 PART 1—PRELIMINARY ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Fire Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1999 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 1 July 1999. PART 2—AMENDMENT OF BUILDING FIRE SAFETY REGULATION 1991 ˙ Regulation amended in pt 2 3. This part amends the Building Fire Safety Regulation 1991 . ˙ Amendment of s 23 (Applicants to pay fees) 4.(1) Section 23(1), ‘prescribed’ to ‘inspection’— omit, insert — ‘fee for the assessment or inspection of the special fire service to be installed, or installed, in the building work’. (2) Section 23(2), ‘prescribed’— omit . ˙ Amendment of s 24 (Assessment or inspection fee) 5. Section 24, ‘prescribed’ to ‘is’— omit, insert — ‘fee is’.
