The object of this Regulation is to give the Commissioner of Fire and Rescue NSW a discretion to terminate regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Fire Brigades Amendment (Termination of Appointment)
Regulation 2014.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Fire Brigades Regulation 2014

Clause 11 Termination of appointment

Omit clause 11 (1) (b). Insert instead:

(b) the firefighter abandons employment as a firefighter.
