Fire Brigades Amendment Regulations 2009

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Fire Brigades Amendment
Regulations 2009.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2— on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.            Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Fire Brigades Regulations 1943.

4.            Regulation 132 amended

(1) In regulation 132(1):

(a)	delete "Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 1981" and insert:
Workers' Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981

(b) delete "Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 1981," and insert:

Workers' Compensation and Injury Management

Act 1981,

(2) In regulation 132(3) delete "Workers' Compensation and

Rehabilitation Act 1981" and insert:

(3) In regulation 132(4) delete "Workers' Compensation and

Rehabilitation Act 1981." and insert:

Workers' Compensation and Injury Management
Act 1981.

5.            Regulation 132B amended

In regulation 132B(2)(a) delete "Health Department of Western
Australia" and insert:

Department of Health

6.             Regulation 137 amended

In regulation 137(2)(a) delete "Stipendiary Magistrate under the
Stipendiary Magistrates Act 1957;" and insert:

Magistrate;

7.            Regulation 139 amended

In regulation 139(4) delete the passage that begins with
"Justices Act 1902" and continues to the end of the
subregulation and insert:

Criminal Procedure Act 2004 Part 3 and the Criminal
Appeals Act 2004 Part 2.

8.            Regulation 190 amended

(1) In regulation 190(1): 

(a) delete "Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 1981" and insert:

Workers' Compensation and Injury Management

Act 1981

(b) delete "Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 1981," and insert:

Workers' Compensation and Injury Management
Act 1981,

(2) In regulation 190(2) delete "Workers' Compensation and

Rehabilitation Act 1981." and insert:
