461 l4 tW 1tslrttth ANNO QUARTO DECIMO ELIZA13ETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 35 of 1965 An Act to Amend "The FireBrigadesAct of 1964" in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 25TH OCTOBER, 1965] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. (1) Short title. This Act may be cited as " The Fire Brigades Act Amendment Act of 1965." (2) Prieeipai Act. " The Fire Brigades Act of 1964 " is, in this Act, called the Principal Act. (3) Collective title . The Principal Act and this Act may be collectively cited as " The Fire Brigades Acts, 1964 to 1965." 2. Amet to s. 3. Section three of the Principal Act is amended by, in the definition " Contributory company ", omitting the words " incorporated or registered in the State and " and inserting in their stead the words " which is ".

Section thirty-two of the Principal Act is amended by, in paragraph (c), omitting the words " contributory companies and " and inserting in their stead the words " insurance companies and by ". 4. Amendment to s. 34. Section thirty-four of the Principal Act is amended by, in paragraph (c), omitting the words " contributory companies and " and inserting in their stead the words " insurance companies and by ". 5. Amendments to s. 39. Section thirty-nine of the Principal Act is amended by- (a) in subsection (1), omitting the words " incorporated or registered in the State " and inserting in their stead the words " a contributory company "; (b) in subsection (2), omitting the words " incorporated or registered in the State" and inserting in their stead the words " a contributory company 6. Amendment to Part Ill Sch. I. Rule 28 of Part II' of Schedule I to the Principal Act is amended by, in sub-rule (3), inserting after the words " cover for fire insurance " the words " the premium paid in respect whereof is prescribed to form the basis or part of the basis upon which a contribution is required by this Act to be made to the total annual contribution in respect of the year in which the Board concerned attends to the fire in question,".
