His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Fire Brigades Act 1989.

Explanatory note
Clause 5 of the Fire Brigades (Charges) Regulation 1995 allows a $250
charge to be levied when there has been a third or further occasion of certain
false alarms during any period of 60 days. The object of this Regulation is to
amend that clause so as to allow such a levy on the second or further
occasion within such a time period.
This Regulation is made under the Fire Brigades Act 1989, including section
42 (1).

Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 March 1998.

Amendment of Fire Brigades (Charges) Regulation 1995

The Fire Brigades (Charges) Regulation 1995 is amended as set out in Schedule 1 .
