An Ordinance to amend the Fire Brigades Ordinance

1957-1958.

(2.) The Fire Brigades Ordinance 1957-1958,t as

amended by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Fire	Brigades
Ordinance	1957-1960.

Regulations. 2 . Section 16 of the Fire Brigades Ordinance 1957-1958 is

amended—

(a) by omitting paragraph (b) and inserting in its stead

the following paragraph:—

"(b) making provision for and in relation

to—

(i) the protection of persons or
property from fire; and

(ii) the rendering of services by members of a fire brigade (other than the per- formance of duties at a fire) and the use, in the rendering of those ser- vices, of the equipment of a fire brigade;" and

(b) by omitting paragraph (d) and inserting in its stead

the following paragraph:—

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

" (d) making provision for or in relation to the charging or recovery of fees for—

(i) services that may be rendered by members of a fire brigade, whether at the request of a person or in pursuance of the Regula- tions; and

(ii) the use, in the rendering of those services, of the equipment of a fire brigade;".
