AN ACT to further amend the Fire Brigades
Act, 1898.
[Assented to 23rd December, 1905.]
BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by andand Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this presentwith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council
Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—
1. This Act may be cited as the Fire Brigades Act, 1905, and Short title.
shall be read as one with the Fire Brigades Act, 1898, hereinafter
referred to as the principal Act.
2. Section eighteen of the principal Act is hereby repealed, Amendment a 62

18. The Board may, from time to time, borrow, with the Power to borrow.
consent of the Governor, upon giving security over any free- hold or leasehold lands of the Board, or without security, such moneys as the Board shall deem necessary for the

purpose of enabling the Board to carry out and perform the powers, authorities, and duties vested in or conferred or imposed upon the Board by this Act.
Any person lending money to the Board under this pro- vision shall not be concerned or bound to inquire as to the application of any such money, or be responsible for the misapplication or non-application thereof.
