s1 2 s5 Fire and Rescue Authority Amendment (No. 1) No. 113, 2000 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Fire and Rescue Authority Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2000 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 1 July 2000. ˙ Regulation amended 3. This regulation amends the FireandRescueAuthorityRegulation1990 . ˙ Amendment of s 2 (Definitions) 4. Section 2— insert— ‘ “level” , of a building, includes any basement or mezzanine level of the building. “lot” means a lot included in a community titles scheme under the BodyCorporate and Community Management Act 1997 .’. ˙ Replacement of s 7 (Administration fee—Act, s 117) 5. Section 7— omit, insert— ˙ ‘ Administration fee—Act, s 117(4) ‘ 7. For section 117(4) of the Act, the administration fee for a financial year, to which a component local government is entitled, is to be calculated as follows— (a) if the number of prescribed properties for which it gives fire levy notices for the financial year is not more than 40 000—the amount worked out by multiplying the number of properties by $2.92; (b) if the number of prescribed properties for which it gives fire levy

Section 11A(b), from ‘residential’ to ‘title’— omit, insert— ‘lot used for residential purposes’. ˙ Replacement of s 13 (Discount for pensioners—Act, s 110) 7. Section 13— omit, insert— ˙ ‘ Discount for pensioners—Act, s 110 ‘ 13.(1) A pension payable under a law of the Commonwealth is declared to be a pension for section 110 of the Act. ‘ (2) For section 110(2) of the Act, it is declared that a pensioner, who is the owner of a prescribed property that is the principal place of residence of the pensioner, is to be granted a discount of 20% on the contributions payable under part 10 of the Act for the property.’. ˙ Replacement of schs 1 and 2 8.
