Fund) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2003

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Fire and Emergency Services (Superannuation Fund) Amendment Regulations

2.           The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Fire and
Emergency Services (Superannuation Fund) Regulations 1986*.

3.            Regulation 3 amended

Regulation 3(1) is amended by inserting the following definition in the correct alphabetical position -

"non-C member" means -

(a)

a Category A member;

(b)

a Category B member; or

(c)

a person -

(i)	who is a member within the meaning of paragraph (b) of the definition of "member"; and
(ii)	who, immediately before becoming such a member, was not a Category C member;

4.            Regulation 11 amended

Regulation 11(6) is amended by deleting the definition of"GES member" and inserting the following definition instead -

"GES member" means a Gold State Super Member or

a West State Super Member, within the meaning

of the State Superannuation Regulations 2001.

5.            Regulation 12C amended

Regulation 12C(1) is amended by deleting "Category A member or Category B member" and inserting instead -

non-C member ".

6.            Regulation 15A amended

Regulation 15A(1) is amended by deleting "Category A member or Category B member" and inserting instead -

non-C member ".
