Part 1 Preliminary

1   Name of Order

This Order is the Fire and Emergency Services Levy (Ad Valorem Rates) Order 2017.

2   Commencement

This Order commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3   Definition

(1)  In this Order:

the Act means the Fire and Emergency Services Levy Act 2017.

Note.

 The Act and the Interpretation Act 1987 contain definitions and other provisions that affect the interpretation and application of this Order.

(2)  Notes included in this Order do not form part of this Order.

Part 2 Ad valorem rates

4   Ad valorem rates for 2017/2018 financial year

The ad valorem rate of the levy for the 2017/2018 financial year for each property sector is as follows:

(a)  for public benefit land—0.000219,

(b)  for farmland—0.000235,

(c)  for residential land—0.000219,

(d)  for industrial land—0.002687,

(e)  for commercial land—0.001791.
