Regulations 2012

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Fire and Emergency Services
Authority of Western Australia Amendment Regulations 2012.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day on which the Fire and Emergency Services Legislation Amendment Act 2012 section 7 comes into operation.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Fire and Emergency Services
Authority of Western Australia Regulations 1998.

4.             Regulation 1 amended

In regulation 1 delete “Authority of Western Australia”.

5.             Regulation 3 amended

In regulation 3 delete the definition of nominating body.

Note:  The heading to amended regulation 3 is to read:

Term used: Western Australian Municipal Association

6.             Regulations 4 and 4A deleted

Delete regulations 4 and 4A.

7.             Regulation 6 amended

(1)	In regulation 6(4)(a)(ii) delete “staff of the Authority;” and insert:
staff;
(2)	In regulation 6(5)(a)(iii) delete “FESA” and insert:
FES
(3)	Delete regulation 6(6)(a) and insert:

(a) a bush fire brigade, a FES Unit or members of staff; and

8.             Regulation 12 amended

(1)	In regulation 12(4) delete “it has” and insert:
the FES Commissioner has
