Fines, Penalties and Infringement Notices

Enforcement Amendment Regulations

(No. 3) 2008

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Fines, Penalties and Infringement Notices Enforcement Amendment Regulations (No. 3) 2008.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows:

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day on which the Fines Legislation Amendment Act 2008 section 12(1) comes into operation.

3.             The regulations amended

The amendment in these regulations is to the Fines, Penalties
and Infringement Notices Enforcement Regulations 1994.

4.             Regulation 6BAA inserted

After regulation 6B the following regulation is inserted —

“

6BAA.	Prescribed amount for a warrant of commitment (s. 53(3))
The amount prescribed for the purposes of section 53(3)(a) is $250 per day.

”.
