FINES ACT 1996 NO 99—PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I , the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Fines Act 1996, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 27 January 1998 as the day on which that Act (except for clauses 2 and 9 of Schedule 3) commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Proclamation commences all of the provisions of the Fines Act 1996 except for clauses 2 and 9 of Schedule 3. Clause 2 of Schedule 3 commenced on I October 1997. Clause 9 of Schedule 3 is to be commenced at a later date.
