Financial Management and Accountability Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, WILLIAM PATRICK DEANE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1998.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Financial Management and Accountability Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Schedule (Prescribed agencies)

3.1   Item 112:

Omit the item.

3.2   After item 119, insert:

 

“119A Commonwealth Grants Commission, comprising: (a) the Chairperson and members of the Commonwealth Grants Commission; and (b) persons appointed or employed under the Public Service Act 1922 to assist the Commission Secretary of the Commission”.

3.3   After item 128, insert:

 

“128A IP Australia, comprising: (a) the person occupying, or performing the duties of, the position within the Department of Industry, Science and Tourism known as the Director-General of IP Australia; and (b) persons appointed or employed under the Public Service Act 1922 to assist the Director-General Director-General”.
