Financial Management and Accountability Determination 2009/28 – Services for other Governments and Non-agency Bodies Special Accounts Abolition 2009

I, LINDSAY TANNER, Minister for Finance and Deregulation, make this Determination under subsection 20 (3) of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997.

1              Name of Determination

This Determination is the Financial Management and Accountability Determination 2009/28 – Services for other Governments and Non-agency Bodies Special Accounts Abolition 2009.

2              Commencement

This Determination will commence upon registration on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

3              Abolition

(1)   The Special Accounts specified in Schedule 1 are abolished.

(2)   The Special Accounts specified in Schedule 2 are abolished with effect from the time at which the balance of the appropriation for the Special Account reaches zero.

(3)   The Special Accounts specified in Schedule 3 are abolished with effect from the time at which:

(a)    a Services for Other Entities and Trust Moneys Special Account is

established for the agency; and

(b)    the balance of the appropriation for the Special Account reaches zero.
