Financial Institutions Duty Amendment

Regulations (No. 2) 2000

Made by the Administrator in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Financial Institutions
Duty Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2000.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation on 1 July 2000.

3.             Regulation 5 amended

Regulation 5(2) of the Financial Institutions Duty
Regulations 1984* is amended as follows:

(a)	by inserting after “payment of ” — “ any of the following ”;
(b)	by deleting “or” after paragraph (d);
(c)	by deleting the full stop after paragraph (e) and inserting instead a semicolon;

(d) by inserting after paragraph (e) the following paragraphs —

“

(f) any allowance or benefit under the A New Tax
System (Family Assistance) Act 1999 or the
A New Tax System (Family Assistance)

Commonwealth;

(g) any bonus payment made under the A New Tax System (Bonuses for Older Australians) Act 1999 of the Commonwealth.

”.
