1Name

This instrument is the Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Amendment (Social Services Measures No. 3) Regulations 2022.

2Commencement

   Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Regulations 1997

   In the appropriate position in Part 4 of Schedule 1AB (table)

Insert:

559 Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021‑2031 To give effect to Australia’s obligations under the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, particularly Articles 4, 5, 8, 9, 12, 13, 16, 24, 25, 27 and 28, by: (a) improving disability service systems; and (b) supporting disability advocacy services; and (c) supporting early intervention for children with disability; and (d) connecting people with disability to work, including by establishing disability leadership networks; and (e) building positive community attitudes towards people with disability; and (f) funding disability research.
