This instrument is the Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Amendment (Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts Measures No. 4) Regulations 2023.

   Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1Amendments relating to Bundanon TrustPart 1Grants to Bundanon Trust

Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Regulations 1997

   In the appropriate position in Part 3 of Schedule 1AB (table)

Insert:

74 Grants to Bundanon Trust To provide funding to Bundanon Trust to assist it: (a) to meet the costs of maintaining and operating its art museum and other assets; and (b) to support arts practice and understanding of the arts through its residency, education, exhibitions and performance programs; as a measure that is peculiarly adapted to the government of a nation and cannot otherwise be carried on for the benefit of the nation.

Part 2Arrangements to pay directors of the Bundanon Trust

Insert:

4 Arrangements to pay directors of the Bundanon Trust To pay remuneration and allowances to directors of the Bundanon Trust, as a measure that is peculiarly adapted to the government of a nation and cannot otherwise be carried on for the benefit of the nation.

Schedule 2Amendments relating to Viewer Access Satellite Television

Insert:

630 Provision of commercial television services over Viewer Access Satellite Television To provide funding to support the provision of free‑to‑air commercial television broadcasting services via satellite for viewers in remote areas, and viewers in other areas who do not have adequate reception of an applicable terrestrial digital commercial television broadcasting service (within the meaning of section 130ZG of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992).
