This instrument is the
Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Amendment (Industry, Science, Energy and Resources Measures No. 2) Regulations 2020 .
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the
Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Act 1997 .
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

In the appropriate position in Part 4 of Schedule 1AB (table) Insert:
450 | Powering Communities Program | To provide funding to support community organisations to reduce energy use, improve energy productivity and deliver carbon abatement, including through: (a) upgrading equipment to reduce energy use; and
to give effect to Australia’s obligations under one or more of the following:
(f) the Paris Agreement, particularly Article 4;

451 | Building Energy Efficiency Program | To support activities that reduce energy use, improve energy productivity and deliver carbon abatement in buildings, including through:
to give effect to Australia’s obligations under one or more of the following:
(e) the Paris Agreement, particularly Article 4;
This objective also has the effect it would have if it were limited to measures involving the granting of financial assistance to a State or Territory. |
452 | Technology Co‑Investment Fund | To provide funding for activities that reduce energy use, improve energy productivity and deliver carbon abatement in the industrial, transport and agricultural sectors, including through:
(c) increasing soil carbon; and (d) reducing livestock emissions; to give effect to Australia’s obligations under one or more of the following:
(f) the Paris Agreement, particularly Article 4;

453 | Hydrogen Export Hub Program | To support the development of hydrogen production, hydrogen demand and hydrogen export supply chains, including through:
