Continuity of Support—Block‑funded Activities

To provide continuity of disability support services for older people who are receiving State or Territory administered disability services and are ineligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme, as a measure directed to meeting Australia’s obligations under the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Continuity of Support—Individual Support Packages

To fund the provision of disability support packages for individual older people who are receiving State or Territory administered disability services and are ineligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme, as a measure directed to:

(a) meeting Australia’s obligations under the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities; and

(b) the provision of sickness benefits and medical services.
