AN ACT to continue the operation of the Financial Emergency Act, 1934, as amended by the Financial Emergency Act Amendment Act, 1935.

Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1.

This Act may be cited as the Financial Emergency Act Amendment Act, 1941, and shall be read as one with the Financial Emergency Act, 1934 (No. 1 of 1934), (as amended by the Acts No. 26 of 1934, No. 19 of 1935, No. 18 of 1936, No. 17 of 1937, No. 25 of 1938, No. 10 of 1939, and No. 27 of 1940), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Short title.

2.    Section seventeen of the principal Act (as amended Continuation

by the Acts No. 19 of 1935, No. 18 of 1936, No. 17 of 1937, of Act.

No. 25 of 1938, No. 10 of 1939, and No. 27 of 1940) is Amendment

of s. 17.

amended by deleting the words "forty-one" and sub-

stituting therefor the words "forty-two."
