AN ACT to continue the operation of the Financial Emergency Act, 1934, as amended by the Finan- cial Emergency Aet Amendment Aet, 1935.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

Short title. 1.

This Act may be cited as the Financial Emergency Act Amendment Act, 1939, and shall be read as one with the Financial Emergency Act, 1934 (No. 1 of 1934), as amended by the Acts No. 26 of 1934, No. 19 of 1935, No. 18 of 1936, No. 17 of 1937, and No. 25 of 1938, herein- after referred to as the principal Act.

Continuation

Section seventeen of the principal Act (as amended and No. 25 of 1938) is amended by deleting the words "thirty-nine" and substituting therefor the word "forty."
