PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that on account of urgency, the following Regulation under the Naval Defence Act 1910 should come into immediate operation, and further should be taken to have come into operation on the 1st day of February, 1911, and make the Regulation to come into operation accordingly as a Provisional Regulation.

Dated this third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

FINANCIAL AND ALLOWANCE REGULATIONS FOR THE NAVAL FORCES OF THE COMMONWEALTH.

Addition.

Add to Regulation 77 the following:—

“Officers and men of Torpedo Boat destroyers in commission shall be granted an allowance to cover wear and tear of clothing, for the periods during which they are actually living on board, at the following rates, viz.:—

Officers and Warrant Officers, 1s. per diem.

Petty Officers and men, 6d. per diem.”
