REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910-1912.

Financial and Allowance Regulations for the Naval Forces of the Commonwealth.

Amendments.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Naval Defence Act 1910-1912 to come into operation on and from the dates shown.

FINANCIAL AND ALLOWANCE REGULATIONS FOR THE NAVAL FORCES OF THE COMMONWEALTH.

Amendments.

Regulation 50 (c).—Royal Australian Naval Radio Service.

Petty Officers.

Cancel the word “Biennial” in the 2nd and 4th lines, and insert in each case the word “Annual” in lieu thereof as from 1st July, 1916.

After the words “per annum” in the 1st line add the following:—“provided that any Chief Petty Officer Telegraphist appointed to the R.A.N. Radio Service on 1st July, 1916, at the maximum salary of £216 per annum, may, after 12 months’ service, be granted allowance at the rate of £6 per annum.”
