PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1915.

Financial and Allowance Regulations for the Military Forces of the Commonwealth—Regulation 75—Amendment.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903-1915 should come intoimmediate operation and, further, should be taken to have come into operation on and from the first day of July, 1913, and make the Regulations to come into operation accordingly as Provisional Regulations.

Financial and Allowance Regulations for the Military Forces of the commonwealth.

Amendment.

Regulation 75—Add new paragraph—

“(b) Members of the R.A.G.A. engaged in drilling or cooking for defaulting trainees committed to a place of detention may, on the approval of the Military Board, be allowed extra duty pay at the rate of 2s. 6d. per diem for such duty.”

(This Regulation is to apply during theperiod 1st July, 1913, to 30th June, 1914, only.)
