PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACTS 1903-1904.

I, THE GOVERNOR GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulations under the Defence Acts 1903-1904 should come into immediate operation, make the Regulations to come into operation forthwith as Provisional Regulations.

Dated this twenty-sixth day of October, One thousand nine hundred and six.

Financial and Allowance Regulations for the Military Forces.

In paragraph 235, Telegrams, for the words—

“The sums so expended, to be admitted as a charge against the public, must be vouched by the copies of the telegram sent,”

read—

“To be admitted as charges against the public, the sums so expended must be vouched by copies of the telegrams sent—save in the cases of telegrams sent personally by Commandants.”
