Financial and Allowance Regulations for the Military Forces of the Commonwealth—Regulations 5, 78, 99, and 231—Amendments.
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of
Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby
certify that the following Regulations under the

Financial and Allowance Regulations for the Military Forces of the Commonwealth.
At the end of Regulation 5 (
“Provided that during the period of the war, the District Commandant is authorized to provisionally approve of the writing off of stores up to the value of £20; but a list of all such cases in which the amount struck off exceeds £5 shall be submitted to Headquarters after the close of each month for covering approval.”
Regulation 78—Sub-paragraph (
Under the heading, “Company

immediately following the appointment of “Military Mechanist Electrician,”
(The above amendments shall be taken to have effect on and from the 1st day of May, 1916.)
Regulation 99.
(This amendment to Regulation 99 shall be taken to have effect on and from the first day of July, 1916.)

Regulation 231—that portion which reads:—
“provided that, during the, period of the present war, Warrant and Non-commissioned Officers of the Instructional Staff, may, in lieu of the foregoing, be granted an allowance of 1s. 6d. per diem, such allowance to be paid to the individuals concerned.”
is
“provided that during the period of the present war, Warrant and Non-commissioned Officers of the permanent Military Forces who are employed on instructional duties at A.I.F. Camps may, in lieu of the foregoing be granted an allowance of 1s. 6d. per diem, such allowance to be paid to the individuals concerned.”
(This amendment to Regulation 231 shall be taken to have effect on and from the first day of December, 1915.)
