REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1927.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903-1927, to come into operation forthwith unless otherwise stated.

Financial and Allowance Regulations for the Australian Military Forces and Senior Cadets.

Amendments.

Insert new Regulation No. 87:—

Furlough Payments Permanent Forces.

Trust for Furlough Pay

87. Where payment of a sum of money to the dependants of a member of the Permanent Forces has been authorized under regulations 478 or 479 of the Australian Military Regulations the amount so authorized to be paid may be distributed to the dependants in such proportions and in such manner as the Minister directs and for that purpose may be vested in Trustees upon such trusts as are approved by the Minister.

(To have effect as from 1st January, 1926.)

Regulation 207 is amended as follows:—

Delete the schedule appearing in sub-paragraph (a) and substitute the following in lieu thereof:—

(i)
