STATUTORY RULES.

1918. No. 42.

 

REGULATION UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1908–1917.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903–1918 to come into operation forthwith.

Regulation 243 of Financial and Allowance Regulations for the Australian Military Forces and Senior Cadets is amended as follows:—

Schedule (a) “Provisions”—add:—

“Provided that during the period of the war the following additional issues are authorized per head weekly:—

½ lb. flour.

½ lb. rice.

1 oz. curry powder.

To take effect as from 23rd October, 1916.”
