REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1917.

advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the

Amendment of Financial and Allowance Regulations.
Financial and Allowance Regulations for the Australian Military Forces and Senior Cadets are amended as follows:—
(1) Regulation 81b is amended by adding thereto the following sub-regulation:—
“(C) On satisfactorily completing a probationary period of three months, after first appointment, Warrant Officers, non-commissioned Officers, and Men of the Aviation Instructional Staff shall receive a sum not exceeding £10, for the purchase of such articles of uniform as may be approved by the Military Board. Claims must be supported by vouchers and be approved by the Chief of the General Staff.”
(2) Regulation 345—Sub-regulation (2)—The amendment made by Statutory Rules 1918, No. 68, is amended to read as follows:—
“For ‘absence without leave’ where first occurring substitute ‘absence with leave.’”
