REGULATION UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1918.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Defence Act 1903-1918, to come into operation forthwith.

Financial and Allowance Regulations for the Australian Military Forces and Senior Cadets.—Amendment.

Regulation 336 is repealed as from 1st April, 1920, and the following made in lieu thereof:—

Physical Training Staff.

336 (1) The annual rates of pay shall be as follows:—

Chief Instructor......................................................... £525 to £625

Instructor.................................................................. £400 to £500

Assistant Instructor................................................... £300 to £375

(2) Annual rate of increment shall be £25, subject to the approval of the Minister.

2. These rates of pay shall be inclusive of all allowances except “Travelling” allowances.

(3) The rate of pay which a member shall receive from 1st April, 1920, shall, subject to satisfactory report, be that rate which the member would have received had this regulation been in operation at the date of appointment or promotion to the rank held by him on 31st March, 1920.
