FINANCES ADJUSTMENT (AMENDMENT) ACT.

Act No. 13, 1975.

An Act to amend the Finances Adjustment Act, 1932, so as to make provision for the removal of the limitation on interest rates imposed by that Act on any debts due to the Crown, the Water Conservation and Irrigation Commission or to a Pastures Protection Board not already released from that limitation. [Assented to, 10th April, 1975.] BE

Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in	BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative
Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. This Act may be cited as the "Finances Adjustment

(Amendment) Act, 1975".

2.      (1) This section and section 1 shall commence on

the date of assent to this Act.

(2) Section 3 shall commence on such day as may be appointed by the Governor in respect thereof and as may be notified by proclamation published in the Gazette.

3. The Finances Adjustment Act, 1932, is amended—

(a)	by omitting from section 3 (3A) the words "This subsection" where firstly occurring and by inserting instead the matter "(3B ) Subsection (3A)";
(b)	by omitting from section 3 (3A) the words "This subsection" where secondly occurring and by inserting instead the matter "(3c) Subsection

(3A)";

(c) by omitting from section 3 (3A) the words "This	subsection" where thirdly occurring and by inserting
instead the matter " (3D ) Subsection (3A)";
(d)	by omitting from section 3 (3A) the words "This subsection" where fourthly occurring and by inserting instead the matter " (3E ) Subsection
(3A)";
(e)	by omitting from section 3 (3A) the words "This subsection" where fifthly occurring and by inserting instead the matter " (3F ) Subsection (3A)";

(f)

(f)	by inserting after section 3 (4) the following subsections:—
(5) Subsection (3A) does not apply to any debt incurred after the commencement of section 3 of the Finances Adjustment (Amendment) Act, 1975. (6) Nothing in subsection (5) affects the

operation of subsection (3B) , (3C), (3D), (3E)

or ( 3 F ) .
