Finance Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Audit Act 1901.

Persons to whom accounts may be paid

Regulation 68 of the Finance Regulations is amended—

(a) by inserting after paragraph (2) (c) the following paragraph:

“(ca) to a person authorized to receive payment by a financial institution authorized by the claimant to receive payment under paragraph (c);”; and

(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (3) “paragraph (b) or paragraph (c) of the last preceding sub-regulation” and substituting “paragraph (2) (b), (c) or (ca)”.
