Finance Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and pursuant to section 4 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, hereby make the following Regulation under the Audit Act 1901.

After regulation 129aof the Finance Regulations, the following regulation is inserted:

“Authorized dealer”—subsection 62b (4) of the Act

“129b. It is hereby declared that each corporation included from time to time in “CATEGORY C (AUTHORISED MONEY MARKET DEALERS)” as determined under section 10 of the Financial Corporations Act 1974 is an authorized dealer for the purposes of the definition of “authorized dealer” in subsection 62b(4) of the Act.”.
