Finance Regulations2 (Amendment)

The Australian Capital Territory Executive hereby makes the following Regulation under the Audit Act 1989.

Power to give directions

Regulation 81 of the Finance Regulations is amended—

(a)by omitting from subregulation (1) “(vii)” and substituting “(viii)”; and

(b)by inserting after subregulation (1) the following subregulation:

“(1A)  Pursuant to paragraph 126 (1) (b) of the Act, each head of administration and the Auditor-General may, in relation to his or her administrative unit, give officers of, or persons employed in, that unit directions for or in relation to any of the matters referred to in subparagraphs 125 (2) (a) (i) to (viii) (inclusive) of the Act.”.
