Finance Brokers Control (General) Amendment

Regulations 2003

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Finance Brokers Control
(General) Amendment Regulations 2003.

2.             The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Finance Brokers
Control (General) Regulations 1977*.

3.             Regulation 4A replaced

Regulation 4A is repealed and the following regulation is inserted instead —

“

4A.	Prescribed periods — sections 31(1) and (2) and 32(1)
The period prescribed under —

(a)	section 31(1) and (2); and
(b)	section 32(1),

of the Act is 3 years.

”.

4.             Regulation 4B amended

Regulation 4B(2) is repealed and the following subregulation is inserted instead —

“

(2) The holding fee is to be paid within 60 days of the
licensee ceasing to hold a current business certificate in
respect of the licence, and triennially after that
payment.

”.

5.             Schedule amended

The Schedule is amended by deleting item 4 and inserting instead the following item —

“

4.         For renewal of business certificate —

(for a period of 3 years) ............................... 324

”.
