AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Film Classification Ordinance 1971-1972.

I, T H E GOVERNOR-GENERAL of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under

the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910-1973.

FILM CLASSIFICATION ORDINANCE 1974

1 . (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Film Classification

Ordinance 1974.*

(2) The Film Classification Ordinance 1971-1972,t as amended

by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Film Classification Ordinance
1971-1974.

2. Section 8 of the Film Classification Ordinance 1971-1972 is

amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (2) (b) the words " six years " and substituting the words " two years ";

(b) by omitting from sub-section (3) the words "s ix years" (wherever occurring) and substituting the words " two years "; and
