AN ACT to amend the Fertilisers and Feeding

Stuffs Act, 1904.

[Assented to 16th February, 1911.]

DE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by andwith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and

Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Par- liament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :-

This Act may be cited as the Fertilisers and Feeding Stuffs Amendment Act, 1911, and shall be read as one with the Fertilisers and Feeding Stuffs Act, 1904 (hereinafter referred to as the prin- cipal Act).

Amendment of

Section fifteen of the principal Act is amended by the inser- tion immediately after the word "representative," in the third line thereof, of the words "or of some Justice of the Peace or Police Officer," and by the substitution for paragraph (a) thereof of the following paragraph :-

One sample shall be delivered to the person in charge of, or left upon, the premises (if any) from which it was taken, or, if taken in course of transit as aforesaid, shall be delivered to the vendor or any agent of the vendor in Western Australia, or left at the principal place of business in Western Australia of such vendor or agent."

Section twenty-six of the principal Act is hereby repealed,

"26. (1.) The contravention by any person of any section or provision of this Act, whether by act or omission, shall be deemed an offence against this Act.

(2.) Every offence against this Act for which no specific penalty is provided shall be punishable by a fine not ex- ceeding fifty pounds."

All copies of the principal Act hereafter printed by the Gov- ernment Printer shall be printed as amended by this Act under the supervision of the Clerk of the Parliaments, and a reference to this Act made in the margin.
