FEES STATUTE 2006

The Council of the Australian National University makes the following Statute under section 50 of the Australian National University Act 1991.

1       Name of Statute

This Statute is the Fees Statute 2006.

2       Commencement

This Statute commences on the day after it is registered.

3       Rules

The Council may make Rules with respect to the payment to the University of fees including student contribution amounts and tuition fees referred to in section 19-85 of the Higher Education Support Act 2003.

4       Orders

The Vice-Chancellor or the Deputy Vice-Chancellor may make Orders, not inconsistent with this Statute or any Rules under this Statute, determining the amounts of fees payable under Rules made under section 3.

5       Repeal

The Fees Statute 1999, as amended and in force immediately before the commencement of this Statute, is repealed.
