AN ACT to amend the Feeding Stuffs Aet, 1928.

Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, inBE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byand with the advice and consent of the Legislative

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows :-

Short title.

1.

This Act may be cited as the Feeding Stuffs Act Amendment Act, 1933, and shall be read as one with the Feeding Stuffs Act, 1928 (No. 15 of 1928), hereinafter re- ferred to as the principal Act.

Amendment of

2.

Section three of the principal Act is amended

(a)

by deleting from the definition of "Dealer" the word "an" in line two of such definition and inserting in lieu thereof the words "a manufacturer";

(b)

by inserting, after the definition of "Minister," a

definition, as follows:—

" 'Sell' or 'to sell' includes

(1) to barter or exchange;

(ii)    to agree to sell, barter or exchange;

(iii)    to offer, expose, store, have in possession, send

or deliver for, or, on sale;

(iv)    to receive for sale;

(v)    to cause or suffer to be sold, bartered or ex- changed, or to be agreed to be sold, bartered or exchanged;

(vi)    to cause or suffer to be offered, exposed, stored, had in possession, sent or delivered for, or on sale;

(vii)    to cause or suffer to be received for sale; and

(viii)

to attempt to do any of such acts or things; and

all derivations of the word 'to sell,' includ-

ing the noun 'sale,' have corresponding con-

notations."

3. A section is inserted in the principal Act after section Nevisection.
