AN ACT for determining the Divisions in Western Australia for which Members of the Federal House of Representatives shall be chosen, and the Number of Members for each Division.

things provided that, until the Parliament of the Commonwealth otherwise provides, the Parliament of any State may make laws for determining the Divisions in each State for which Members of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Commonwealth may be chosen by such State, and the number of Members to be chosen for each Division : And whereas the Colony of Western Australia is an original State in the Commonwealth of Australia: Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and

Legislative Assembly of -Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows

1. THIS Act may be cited as the Federal House of Repre-

2. IN this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,-

3. FOR the purpose of the election of Members of the House

Every elector wilfully making a false answer to any question put to him under this section shall be liable to imprisonment not exceeding two years.
