Federal Court of Australia Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Federal Court of Australia Act 1976.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Federal Court of Australia Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 2AA (Setting down fees)

3.1   Subregulation 2AA (1):

Omit “subregulation (2),”, substitute “subregulations (1A) and (2),”.

3.2   After subregulation 2AA (1), insert:

 “(1A) If a fee has been paid for mediation in relation to the proceeding, the setting down fee for the proceeding is reduced by the amount of the fee paid for the mediation.”.
